Harvest

Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

Zechariah 10:1 KJV

Beloved of Jesus, most of you who are attuned to God’s Spirit are aware that a great harvest of souls is in his immediate agenda. Throughout history, great outpourings of the Holy Spirit have been accompanied by a great harvest of souls.

The first of such outpouring took place on the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts. That day, the people were refreshed, revived, empowered and filled with joy. Soon thereafter, three thousand souls were saved and this harvest continued in the fledgling church on a daily basis.

As the harvest grew even larger, some in the affected areas became alarmed and persecution broke out against the Church. This resulted in the disciples needing another wave of empowerment, so that they could remain faithful to God. In response, He sent them another refreshing rain:

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Acts 4:31 KJV

Each time the Holy Spirit is poured out over a thirsty land, it produces a harvest. In the book of Acts, we can see the progression of revival:

And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Acts 2:47b KJV

And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

Acts 5:14 KJV

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Acts 9:31 KJV

Each wave of the outpouring brought with it a wave of harvest, each increase in the power of God bringing in increase in the number of souls saved.

The Asuza street revival of the early years of the 20th century was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that brought with it a new surge of power and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. This led to great harvest around the world. Statistics reveal that by 1990, more than 372 million people had been affected by this outpouring. It was the foundation upon which the pentecostal and charismatic movement would stand.

Now we are engaged in another great outpouring and it too is bringing with it great and mighty harvest. This will surely be the harvest of all harvests and because of that a new rain will be falling upon us.

Then he will continue to send both the early and late rains that will produce wonderful crops of grain

Deuteronomy 11:14a TLB

The Harvest is Ready.

The glory outpouring is upon us and God is ready for massive harvest of souls. The Harvest Angel is ready to thrust in his sickle and reap the 1 billion harvest of souls simultaneously.

And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

Revelation 14:18 KJV

The Earth is fully ripe for harvest. Jesus paid with His blood for each and every human being on Earth to be saved. He will get His harvest. His blood and sacrifice will never be in vain. Keep deceiving yourself if you like, when the time comes and the Holy Spirit broods upon you, no one will tell you before you give your life to Jesus Christ.

The Glory dimension of God is going to be manifesting which will lead to harvest of souls, with the rain of the Spirit producing bumper crops.

The Elijah’s in Our Midst

Where some only see dryness of the hour, those who have a heart toward the Spirit can see a cloud of refreshing approaching, as did prophet Elijah.

And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times.

1 Kings 18:43 KJV

The land was in a period of drought which had produced widespread famine, but Elijah began declaring that a new outpouring of rain would come. In the Spirit he could hear something, “the sound of abundance of rain” (1 Kings 18:41).

Refusing to look at the circumstances, Elijah went to the top of Mount Carmel and began to pray. As he bowed on the ground, with his face between his knees, God began to show him something, and the air suddenly filled with expectancy. I understand what Elijah was feeling that day. I feel something in the air around the world. We are about to reap the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen, and it will happen because we will experience the greatest outpouring of the Spirit ever seen.

Some as we have seen are still looking for the return of the former revival. Some are like the servant who went out and looked seven times and saw nothing promising. However, there is the sound of an abundance of rain. If you have looked seven times and haven’t seen anything promising, look again:

And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

1 Kings 18:44 KJV

A cloud “as small as a man’s hand” probably did not impress the servant, but it excited Elijah because he knew what that represented. Many have been diligently praying for great miracles and great harvest, and now it is upon us. Good things are on the way, so let’s keep pressing and laboring in the vineyard of the Lord.

Don’t wait for any big “sign” to happen, it can be as small as a man’s hand, be like Elijah and get excited, the rain is on the way. Respond to the signs God is sending and rejoice in them, no matter how insignificant you might consider them to be. Many people could not accept Jesus just because He was born in a stable. They let Him pass their way without being affected by His power. When God has sent a new wave of His glory, it has often been through something seemingly foolish. He uses the simple to confound the wise and haughty. Receive it nevertheless.

However, the presence of clouds does not always guarantee rain. It depends on the amount of atmospheric pressure on the clouds. Our desperate hunger and thirst for God will cause His rain to come. We must respond to Him with great longing and faith, believing what will soon follow is a great cloudburst of rain and resulting harvest.

Whether you choose to believe it or not, Elijah is here and we are on the verge of the greatest harvest of souls mankind has ever witnessed. It will happen because of Jesus’ sacrifice. This harvest will even surpass all the other harvest the world has ever seen. Get ready.

Brethren, you need a relationship with God to partake in bringing in this harvest for Him. Are you born again? If you are not what are you waiting for? Jesus loves you so much and wants a relationship with you. Why not accept Him into your heart right now? Say this prayer out loud and mean it from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I ask that you come into my heart and be my Lord and personal savior. I ask that you wash away all my sins and make me whiter than snow. I renounce satan and every unfruitful work of darkness in Jesus name I pray, Amen. Thank you Jesus, I love you Jesus.

Congratulations beloved, welcome home! We are brothers and sisters now and I love you so much. Now ask the Father for the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and receive this free gift from God.

Beloved, I strongly recommend that you spend time in fellowship and communion with God through prayer, fasting, study of the word and worship. I also recommend that you invite the Holy Spirit to do all these spiritual activities with you as He is your helper and He is so fun to hang out with.

Always remember that God is not a brute, He is approachable, He loves you and wants a relationship with you. God bless you and keep you, God cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. God lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen

Until next time, I love you – continue in God’s love.
